Sport Council
Our 2023/4 Sport Council children were elected by their peers in September 2023. They play a key role in Bignold's PESSPA (Physical education, school sport and physical activity) offer.
We meet at least once a half term where we discuss:
- The organisation of school sporting events and challenges
- How to improve physical activity around the school
- Our PE curriculum - the children have an active role in surveying the opinions of other year groups
- How to raise the profile of PE around the school
- Intra-school competitions
