Bignold Pre-School

Bignold Pre-school is a purpose built setting for 2-3 year olds. It is situated within the school grounds and contains its own kitchen, toilets, cloak room and a large outside area. We offer a nurturing environment for your child to thrive and grow with experienced, caring staff who like to go the extra mile to help our families.

We concentrate on the 3 prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting children with  their Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and their Physical Development. As well as looking at what the children are learning, we concentrate on how the children are learning, e.g. encourage the children to have a go for themselves, to try different approaches and make links between their experiences.

Our goal is that when the children move on they are resilient, confident, enthusiastic and curious explorers who have developed their communication skills and are becoming increasingly independent, ready for their next adventure!

We are open term-time only and offer morning sessions.

Our morning sessions run from 8.30am-11.30am.

We do not offer full days in pre-school.

We accept the 15 hour government funding for 2 year olds. If you do not qualify for 2 year old funding we charge £5.50 per hour for any sessions booked. This is reviewed annually.
