Our Reception Curriculum

Welcome to our Reception Curriculum. 

Our curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of our children providing them with a rich diet of opportunities. We believe children learn in a variety of ways and that play-based learning is an important element. We are preparing our children for a lifelong love of learning and children leave Reception ready to continue their learning journey in KS1 and beyond.

In Reception there is a mixture of child-initiated and adult-led activities combined with exciting enhancements to the learning environment- which are often sparked by a love of books.
