Test and trace
What to do if you or your child is exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19?
Are they showing any of the following symptoms?
- a new persistent cough?
- a raised temperature/fever?
- a loss of smell or taste?
If so, you will need to book a test.
Go to the NHS website or call 119 to book a test and find out what it involves.
You can get a test kit delivered to your home, or you can go to a local test site. You can choose which one you want when you book.
If you are worried about testing your child, the Just One Norfolk website has advice and a video that may help.
You should get your test results within 48 hours.
If the test is positive, your child will need to isolate at home for 10 days and you and your household may need to isolate at home for 14 days.
Please inform the school office of the results of the test as soon as possible and let us know if they have provided you with any guidance – sometimes you may be asked to isolate even if the test is negative.
Further information for parents and carers on testing is available via https://www.justonenorfolk.nhs.uk/test-trace
School visitors reporting to the office will be asked to provide contact information for the purposes of contact tracing. Please speak to a member of the office team if you require any information about this. We will not share personal information without obtaining your consent.
