Easy Playdough Recipe

Below is a recipe we regularly use to make playdough in school. We hope you find it useful and enjoy making amazing creations with your dough.

Top tip: Keep your playdough in an air tight container once you have finished and it will last much longer.

Ingredients:

* 2 cups of plain flour

* 1/2 cup of salt

* 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (baby oil or coconut oil work too)

* 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar

* 1 to 1.5 cups of boiling water (depending on how much is needed)

* Food colouring/ scent of your choice.

Mix the flour, salt oil and cream of tartar in a bowl. If using colouring add this to the boiling water before adding to the mixture. Mix using a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are well combined. If the dough is too sticky add a little flour.

Once cooled, use and have fun!
