Dear parents & carers,
As you may have seen in the news today, the Government are launching a voucher scheme to provide food for children eligible for Free School Meals whilst schools are closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Parents will receive a £15 voucher for each child eligible for Free School Meals. Please note, that this does not include Universal Free School Meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
The school office will contact parents directly to make arrangements for sending out the vouchers. If you think your child might be entitled to have Free School Meals but you have not yet completed the application, please contact the school office for guidance on how to do this.
Please be aware that the Department for Education have sent out the following scam warning:
Be aware of scam emails
We have been informed that some parents have received an email stating the following: ‘As schools will be closing, if you’re entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we’ll make sure you’re supported’.
We can confirm that this is a scam email and is not official. We urge parents that if you receive any emails like this, please do not respond, and delete it immediately.
As ever, we are here to support you. We are still your child's school and will offer whatever help we can.
With my best wishes to you all,
Mr Newman
