Friday 12th February - a message from Binks Neate-Evans, our Executive Principal
We have reached another milestone of a half term. Thank you all for your continued support for your schools and the children. We are hoping to have a clear picture of the fuller re-opening of schools on 22nd February when we have promised a road map out of stricter lockdown. Will keep you informed of our plans. Please be assured we are very keen to have all children in school without undoing the good work we have all achieved by adhering to the guidelines.
School governors play a vital role in the development, support and improvement of your schools. We are very fortunate to have some very committed volunteers to serve the best interests of our communities. We would like to ensure all vacancies are filled and that our governor are representative of our communities. If you are interested or have some time you would like to give, please contact the schools. Bignold has 2 parent governor vacancies and Angel Road Federation has 3 vacancies currently. We are very keen that we fill this from within our communities. You DO NOT need to have experience of governance; we want people that have experience of life! Please do give it some thought as our communities have really pulled together through his pandemic.
Happy half term to you all and I'm sure you will join me in extended thanks to all those in your schools who have gone above beyond for our young people. In turn, I know our school teams are incredibly encouraged by the warm-hearted and generous support you have offered them.
Let's look forward with hope and high aspirations for them. Happy holidays.
