A message from our Executive Principal, Binks Neate-Evans
As you will be receiving a lot of information from your school this week I will not add to this communication with a long message.
I just wanted to thank the community for the lovely messages, and I am back at work, albeit virtually and am fully recovered. I recognise how devastating the virus can and has been on so many people in our community, our country and globally. Please do try your very hardest to follow the guidance or seek help and support if you are finding it difficult.
There has been some very interesting media pieces including MPs speaking up on behalf of constituents who are not so privileged. This lockdown, which I call 'Lockdown V5000', feels much, much harder. I'm sure you do not need me to tell you that. Too many people have huge challenges, often hidden and don't have access to all the basic resources that too many of us take for granted. My plea is for us to be reserve judgment and step forward, whenever possible with compassion.
We are working hard to get online offers right. It will not be perfect for everyone and things will change and develop. Please trust that we reflect and evaluate a lot. Evolution Academy Trust are hugely supportive for their schools so we can support our communities. We know some families still do not have enough devices or access and we will continue to try and find ways to help all children learn.
I will reinforce the consistent messaging, in that we remain your community school and committed to the communities. Please continue to work with us, talk to us so we learn as an organisation; in this way we can do the very best by your child. Lastly, your emails and messages of encouragement have been absolutely fantastic - you have no idea how these words of gratitude and encouragement lift the spirits of the hard-working teams. if you can, please keep them coming ....
Take great care and try and keep hope. The link below certainly gave me some...... stunning performance, superb messaging on so many levels.
